When opening the PS Stars app you will need to accept the revised Terms of Service, otherwise your membership will be considered cancelled. “If you cancel, we are sorry to see you go, but remember that you can re-join at any time by accepting the updated Terms of Service, at which point you will regain access to your Points and benefits (if they have not expired based on their expiration date).”
We’ll continue to check the status of PS Stars and will update as and when the cash rewards return for everyone.
Original Article: There’s increasing nervousness among the PlayStation fanbase that PS Stars may have been nerfed. As many of you will already know, purchasing games on the PS Store rewards you with points, which can then be exchanged for digital items or – crucially – funds for your next transaction. But as of right now, the option to exchange points for cash has been removed.
That’s the case for us, in the UK, and many others at the time of writing. Some say they still see the option – in both Europe and USA – while others claim the previous $5 and $20 options have been replaced with a $10 exchange. It apparently costs 2,500 for the $10, so there’s been no reduction in value.
